There will always be corruption and abuse of power in government and private business. To say otherwise is naive and ignorant of human history and human nature. But the difference between corruption and abuse in government and business is that it is much easier to change products or services providers than to change governments.

Why are there no jobs?
Because people are afraid to start businesses because they will either have to spend thousands and thousands of dollars on lawyers and accountants, or go it alone and risk missing some tiny piece of tax code/regulation and are then put out of business by the government.
